Two Levels of Governance
This collaborative structure ensures that Lansdowne Woods remains a well-run, resident-focused community where everyone has a voice and a role in shaping its future.
- Lansdowne Woods of Virginia Community Association (LWVA)
Oversees campus-wide operations including the Clubhouse, landscaping, gate access, fiscal management, and community amenities. - Condominium Associations
Each residential building manages its own operations—maintenance, staffing, board elections, and building-specific policies.
Onsite Management
An on-site management team supports both LWVA and the six individual Condominium Associations. Staff include:
- CAI Credentialed General Manager
- CAI Credentialed Association Managers & Assistants
- Activities & Fitness Directors
- Chief Engineer, Building Engineers, & Maintenance Assistants
- Administrative and Facilities personnel
Professional partners provide accounting, gate staff, janitorial support, pool staff, and waste removal.

Monthly Fees & Services at Lansdowne Woods
Residents pay one monthly fee that supports their individual condominium association, Lansdowne Woods of Virginia Community Association (LWVA), and the Lansdowne Conservancy. Services vary slightly by building, but all residents receive comprehensive maintenance, management, and in-unit essentials.
